I taught two seminars yesterday. One was for safety/HR people on workplace investigation, and the other was a compliance overview for a dairy peer group.
I took the Sunchaser, and got lost on the way to the dairy, which google maps could not find. I had to go down a couple of dirt roads to get there. I wanted to take a picture of the Sunchaser parked by the cows, but my stupid phone died.

Today I do another dairy seminar, this time in Hanford, a lovely little town that is proudly the birthplace of Steve Perry of Journey. Yes, I am taking the Sunchaser. It is a nice, 45 minute drive through the country. I may even have to stop at Superior Dairy for an ice cream.

One of my buddies in sacramento is a guitar player and they had a tribute band for Journey. They called their band “Departure, a tribute to Journey”. They are actually pretty good, they play at bars, clubs and holiday parties etc...

Is that the HR group that made the current crop of sexual harassment videos about the coffee shop for the state of California that I have to watch every year? Those are terrible, they need better writers and actors.

Steve Perry is a legend around here. He’s genuinely nice and that’s what people like about him. Plus, who doesn’t love Journey?
Last night, my daughter and 4 other Girl Scouts did a presentation to the Hanford City Council asking them to ban plastic straws. I am proud of that girl, even if she is trying to kill me by taking away my damn straws.
